Souryadeep Bhattacharyya is an accomplished sarod virtuoso and a leading exponent of Indian classical music, trained under the tutelage of legendary maestros. Rooted in the rich tradition of Hindustani classical music, he combines technical mastery with deep emotional expression to create performances that captivate and inspire global audiences.
A disciple of Pandit Alok Lahiri, Souryadeep represents an authentic lineage while pushing the boundaries of classical music with innovative renditions. He is a National Gold Medalist in Instrumental Music and an empaneled artist of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), representing India on prestigious international platforms.
With notable performances at venues like the Lincoln Center in New York, Chicago Cultural Center and the Pt. Kashinath Bodas Music Festival in Phoenix, Souryadeep has established himself as a sought-after artist in both traditional and contemporary settings.
